The oil does have to be kept in the fridge to keep it nice and cool. As you can see the packaging this comes in is very catchy and I love the colors. The oil does have a scent to it however I have smelled much worse. I would personally use this for a night time treatment so that in the AM you can shower and go about your normal routine.
