Magenta

This is a work in progress - I used L'Oreal highlights in Magenta. I decided since my hair was so dark I would use 40 developer to try and lighten it up. I choose this type of dye since it did not require me bleaching my hair prior. I also used a protein filler that helps absorb the color better into the hair. Below is from the first attempt. My roots came out lighter even though it was the last place I applied the dye. I am glad it has the pink undertones instead of the copper though. I am happy with the first attempt but want a more dramatic finish, so I will be trying it out again in a few days
