October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month #GlamuletPinkOctober

Breast Cancer has hit close to home multiple times in my family. Both my Grandmothers fought the battle and were survivors. It's very inspiring to see all these woman fighting daily and not giving up. The goal of this campaign is to provide awareness and reality. 

Let's talk about the facts and statistics for breast cancer:

• One in Eight will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer
• Breast Cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women
• Breast cancer is the 2nd leading leading cause of death in women
• Each year it is estimated that over 220,000 women in the United States will be diagnosed with, and more than 40,000 will die.
• Although breast cancer in men is rare, an estimated 2,150 men will be diagnosed with, and approximately 410 will die each year.
• Every 45 minutes, someone dies.

These statistics are really hard to face but we all must face it!
